Bachelor of Marketing (Honors)

The Bachelor of Business ISB BBus program in Marketing major will help students accumulate core knowledge in business, in-depth research on Marketing activities, and tools of Marketing. The curriculum aims to equip future employees who can adapt quickly to the dynamic and modern labor market.

    ●       Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, email campaigns, online promotion, etc.

    ●       Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials

    ●       Assist with the fulfillment of marketing offers

    ●       Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials

    ●       Perform analysis of marketing and sales data

    ●       Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline

    ●       Prepare presentations

    ●       Open and sort mail

    ●       Enter contact information into contact management systems

    ●       Maintains a strong working knowledge of supported products and continually strives to enhance skills through ongoing training, reading, and participating in projects and improvement initiatives.

    ●       Develop a strong understanding of the business and can relate problems to business impacts. Understand when to place a sense of urgency and when to escalate critical problems to management.

    ●       Work in conjunction with Sales and Technical Account Managers to create and deliver new/and/or custom products and samples are required by clients.

    ●       Ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments to resolve customer-related issues or requests.

    ●       Generate monthly reports of customer product usage as required

    ●       Monitor and modify customer delivery profiles as required

    Research intern/ analyst

    ●       Leading day-to-day research projects with support from senior members of the team as well as peers

    ●       Supplier briefing and fieldwork management

    ●       Setting up questionnaires and working collaboratively with the team to advise on optimal design

    ●       Working and briefing internal teams

    ●       Data checking and reporting (specifying report needs, charting, formatting, data checking)

    ●       Supporting senior members in creating and delivering actionable insights

    ●       Supporting senior members of the team on new business activity/proposals/innovation

     

    Insight intern/ executive

    ●       End to end management of syndicated measurement projects, liaising with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure deadlines are met and issues are resolved

    ●       Collect, validate and analyse sponsorship performance data

    ●       Manage central data models and visualisation dashboards for the team

    ●       Understand what information is most useful to clients and how to turn that information into actionable insight

    ●       Support on client communications

    ●       Become a trusted advisor; offering an in-depth consultative approach with clients

    ●       Provide organisational and administrative support

     

    Project intern/ executive

    ●       Project management of research projects

    ●       Liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to drive efficiency, timelines, and feedback

    ●       Managing communications with external suppliers ensuring a steady flow of fieldwork

    ●       Troubleshooting and alerting research leads to any concerns with projects promptly

    ●       Working with the Research Director to improve process especially involving communication between various teams

    ●       Reviewing incoming and outgoing work to ensure it’s done to brief, on-brand, and correctly

    ●       Data checking and reporting (updating quotas, specifying supplier needs, survey link, and soft launch data checking)

     

    Field intern/ representative

    ●       Build and maintain relationships with Nielsen Families/Households

    ●       Educate Panel Members on the proper use of our equipment

    ●       Install, maintain and troubleshoot proprietary hardware and software in sample homes to capture research measurements
