Thay vào đó, người học được trải nghiệm trong một môi trường học tập đa dạng, linh hoạt cùng những hình thức và phương pháp giảng dạy tiên tiến như học trực tuyến (Online Learning); học kết hợp (Blended Learning); học qua dự án (Project Based-Learning); học cá nhân (Personalized Learning)…Trong đó, học qua dự án (Project Based-Learning) là một trong những xu hướng giáo dục hiện đại, gia tăng tính thực tiễn và được Đại học Kinh tế TP.HCM (UEH) áp dụng cho sinh viên ngay từ năm nhất.

Với chiến lược Đại học Đa ngành và Bền vững, hướng đến chuyển đổi số toàn diện, UEH không ngừng đẩy mạnh và cập nhật những xu hướng ứng dụng công nghệ mới nhất vào quản lý và số hóa các hoạt động chăm sóc sinh viên như hệ thống thi trực tuyến; dịch vụ hồ sơ điện tử có xác thực; cấp chứng chỉ/chứng nhận điện tử các khóa ngắn hạn; hệ thống quản lý, chăm sóc người học/đối tác đa kênh, kho tri thức trên hệ thống CRM……Đồng thời, nhà trường cũng áp dụng phương pháp giảng dạy có tính xu thế; đem lại giá trị cho người học, đặc biệt là thế hệ sinh viên GenZ tài năng, sáng tạo, yêu tự do và thích khám phá. Điển hình là phương pháp Project Based-Learning (Học qua dự án).
Project Based-Learning (Học qua dự án) là phương pháp lấy người học làm trung tâm, giúp người học lĩnh hội kiến thức và kỹ năng thông qua việc bắt tay vào giải quyết vấn đề của một dự án cụ thể. Người học được trao quyền làm chủ dự án, bằng cách ứng dụng tổng hợp những kiến thức đa lĩnh vực, người học chủ động sáng tạo ý tưởng, hoạch định kế hoạch, xây dựng các phương án triển khai chi tiết trong những bối cảnh khác nhau, và đánh giá hiệu quả. Phương pháp này đòi hỏi người học có khả năng tư duy phản biện, tư duy đổi mới sáng tạo, khả năng giải quyết vấn đề, kỹ năng hợp tác, giao tiếp và trao đổi thông tin. Đây đều là những kỹ năng cần thiết của một chân dung GenZ phiên bản 5.0 – lực lượng lao động chính của xã hội siêu thông minh. Trong những môn học hay khóa học Project Based-Learning, người học đều có thể tự kiểm soát nhiều khía cạnh của dự án, từ việc đặt câu hỏi, quản lý thời gian, sử dụng những tài liệu đến vai trò, vị trí đảm nhận trong nhóm…
Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023 – Trại hè quốc tế, trang bị tư duy toàn cầu, thực hiện dự án hành động bền vững tại địa phương
Được phối hợp tổ chức bởi UEH và Đại học Padjadjaran Indonesia cùng với sự tham gia của 10 trường đại học uy tín trên thế giới, Trại hè quốc tế Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023 là một trong những chương trình đào tạo áp dụng theo phương pháp Project Based-Learning.
Tại Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023, 25 bạn sinh viên đến từ các chương trình đào tạo gồm: Ngân hàng; Thị trường chứng khoán; Kế toán tích hợp chứng chỉ nghề nghiệp quốc tế; Quản trị khách sạn; Quản trị khởi nghiệp; Tài chính sẽ được trải nghiệm thực tế, áp dụng những kiến thức đã được học để xây dựng dự án khởi nghiệp xã hội, giải quyết những vấn đề thực tiễn tại địa phương, đặc biệt là tại thành phố sáng tạo Bandung, Indonesia.
Dưới sự dẫn dắt, tư vấn từ các chuyên gia, giảng viên quốc tế, sinh viên có cơ hội học tập, thực hành và làm việc theo nhóm đa văn hóa. Cụ thể, sinh viên sẽ được tiếp cận các kiến thức về doanh nghiệp xã hội, phát triển bền vững và chỉ tiêu đo lường, phát triển mô hình kinh doanh cho doanh nghiệp xã hội, bối cảnh tại Đông Nam Á hiện nay… Từ ngày 6/8-13/8/2023 ngoài học tập trong lớp, các bạn sinh viên còn được tham quan doanh nghiệp, trải nghiệm văn hóa, nghệ thuật, tham quan thành phố, tham gia các động vui chơi, rèn luyện kỹ năng và giao lưu.
Bên cạnh những chính sách học bổng dành cho sinh viên, nhà trường luôn tạo điều kiện để sinh viên có thể tiếp cận tri thức, hội nhập quốc tế, chính vì vậy toàn bộ chi phí bao gồm: ăn uống, nơi ở, đồng phục, phương tiện di chuyển tại Bandung sẽ được UEH và Đại học Padjadjaran hỗ trợ. Ngoài tích lũy kiến thức sau khi hoàn thành chương trình, các bạn sinh viên sẽ được cấp chứng nhận quốc tế và có cơ hội tiếp tục thực hiện dự án nghiên cứu cùng với giảng viên, chuyên gia quốc tế.

Summer Camp & Global Immersion Program 2023 hứa hẹn sẽ là một khóa học Project Based-Learning ý nghĩa và bổ ích giúp các bạn sinh viên UEH trau dồi tư duy, kỹ năng, khẳng định năng lực cạnh tranh trên thị trường lao động quốc tế.

Students from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) join the “Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023” project: International experience – Think globally – Solve problems locally
Sustainable education emphasizes the acquisition of knowledge beyond the traditional classroom. Instead, learners experience an ideal learning environment with advanced teaching forms and methods such as Online Learning; Blended Learning; Project Based-Learning; Personalized Learning, etc. Particularly, Project Based-Learning is one of the modern, practicality-enhancing educational trends of the 21st century and is applied by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) for students from their freshmen year.

With the strategy of a Multidisciplinary and Sustainable University, working towards a comprehensive digital transformation, UEH constantly promotes and updates the latest technology application trends in the management and digitization of student care activities such as: online exam system; authenticated electronic record service; issuing certificates/electronic certificates of short courses; integrated management system, taking care of learners/partners via multiple channels, knowledge library on CRM system… Meanwhile, teaching methods are also applied by the University according to the latest trends in the world, especially for the generation of talented, creative, curious-minded and freedom-loving GenZ learners. Particularly, as previously mentioned, the Project Based-Learning method.
Project Based-Learning is a student-centered, student-oriented approach to learning, allowing learners to achieve the acquisition of knowledge and skills through embarking on a problem-solving project of a particular project. Students are empowered to take ownership of the project, by synthesizing multidisciplinary knowledge, learners actively generate ideas, make plans, develop detailed implementation plans in different contexts, and evaluate effectiveness. This method requires students to have the ability to think critically, think innovatively, solve problems, collaborate, effectively communicate, and exchange information; these are all necessary skills in the Industrial Revolution 5.0 for GenZ – the main workforce of the future society. In Project Based-Learning subjects or courses, students can control many aspects of the project by themselves, from asking questions, managing time, using documents to roles and positions in a group, etc.
Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023 – International summer camp, prepare for global thinking, perform local sustainability activities projects
Co-organized by UEH and University of Padjadjaran Indonesia with the participation of 10 prestigious universities in the world, International Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023 is one of the international programs applied by Project Based-Learning methodology.
At Summer Camp & Immersion Global 2023, 25 students from training programs include: Banking; Stock market; Accounting with international professional certificates; Hotel management; Start-up management; and Finance, will get hands-on experience, applying learned knowledge to build social entrepreneurship projects, solving real-world problems locally, especially in the creative city of Bandung, Indonesia.
Under the guidance and advice from international experts and lecturers, students will have the opportunity to study, practice, and work in multicultural groups. Specifically, students will have access to knowledge about social enterprises, sustainable development and measurement indicators, business model development for social enterprises, and context in Southeast Asia today… From August 6th to 13th, 2023, in addition to studying in class, the students also gain the opportunity to visit businesses, experience culture and art, visit the city, participate in fun activities, practice skills and exchange knowledge.
In addition to scholarship policies for students, the University always creates favorable conditions for students to access knowledge and international integration, hence, the entire cost of the camp including: meals, accommodation, uniforms, transportation in Bandung will be supported by UEH and University of Padjadjaran. In addition to accumulating knowledge after completing the program, students will be granted an international certificate and gain the opportunity to continue to carry out research projects with international lecturers and experts.
